My uncle used an executive style desk for assembling smaller pieces. Sitting at the desk beat the heck out of standing up all day hunched over a workbench. I like the idea so i went into Fusion 360 to design a desk that will fit in my shop.

The desk has a 60″ x 30″ x 1 1/2″ built up top with a generous overhang on the front and back for clamping. The base is a set of boxes. The style matches other shop furniture designs.
Implementation in Fusion 360 was interesting. I already had the pulls implemented as a common component. This time around I created a fully parameterized drawer to insert. The desk has seven instances of that drawer. I broke the link to the original so I could resize them to fit. Fitting them in only required changing the opening size in the drawer parameters and setting joints offset by the drawer front overlap.
